• Boat Data: If you are a boat owner, we collect data regarding your boat's specifications, sail numbers, and measurement certificates (IRC/ORC).
• Authentication Data: OAuth tokens from third-party login providers (Google, Apple, Facebook) securely managed via Google Identity Platform.

We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve our services:

• To create and manage your user account and dynamic Skipper CV.
• To facilitate matchmaking between boat owners and crew members.
• To manage regatta and event registrations securely.
• To send push notifications regarding direct messages, event reminders, and club announcements.
• To improve our search functionality and matchmaking algorithms.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. However, we share your information with trusted enterprise-grade service providers to facilitate our App's functionality:

• Google Cloud & Firebase: Used for secure authentication, real-time database storage (Firestore), cloud functions, and crash reporting.
• Meilisearch: Used to provide fast and accurate search capabilities for users and clubs.
• Social Login Providers: Apple, Google, and Meta (Facebook) for secure account creation and login.

5. Privacy Controls & Your Rights

We provide built-in privacy controls within the App. You can choose to make your account private, hide your email address, or hide your phone number from other users at any time via the Preferences screen.

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request the complete deletion of your account and associated data.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures designed to protect your information, backed by Google Cloud's enterprise security standards. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
