Advanced settings

Advanced Settings (event page → More menu) holds feature flags and scoring rules for the event.

Operations & Course Studio

• Enable Course Studio — turns on the interactive course design and mark-calculation tool for the race committee; see Courses.
• Validate Crew Limits — checks registered boats' crew counts and total weight against their ORC/IRC certificate limits.

Rule sets

• Low Point Penalty System — Standard vs A5.3; see Scoring for what each basis means.
• Per-Code Overrides — override the penalty basis for a single code; codes left as "Follow the rule above" use the system selected above.
• Minimum Races for a Valid Series — the threshold below which an overall series ranking isn't calculated.

Steps

1. Open the event, More → Advanced Settings.
2. Adjust the flags and rules you need.
3. Save. Some settings (e.g. the low point system) affect scoring going forward — recalculate affected races afterwards.
