Courses

The Courses tab manages the marks and course shapes used by races, and the templates you can reuse across races.

Steps

  1. Open the event, go to Courses.
  2. Define marks (rounding, wing marks, finish pin, custom marks) with their positions.
  3. Build a course as a Windward/Leeward, Triangle, or Custom shape from those marks, with rounding direction (port/starboard, CW/CCW) per mark.
  4. Save it as a template to reuse across multiple races instead of rebuilding it each time.
  5. Assign a course to a race from the race's setup.

Course Studio

If Course Studio is enabled (Advanced Settings), the race committee gets an interactive tool to design the course and calculate mark positions/distances live, instead of entering coordinates by hand.
