Event setup wizard

Events → New Event → wizard (or Setup on an existing event) walks through the same setup a new event needs, one step at a time, and can build most of it from an ORC entry list automatically.

What it does

1. Create or resume — start a new event, or resume a draft you started earlier (drafts are saved as you go and listed with a resume/delete option).
2. Basics — name, dates, timezone, visibility, co-hosts.
3. AI-assisted or manual run — optionally point it at an ORC entry list URL; it reads and proposes divisions, rating configuration, and entries for you to review.
4. Review steps — one screen per area (divisions, rating, entries, start groups, and more) where you check and adjust what was proposed before anything is written.
5. Apply — writes everything in one pass. Nothing is written to the event until this step.

Steps

1. Open Events → New Event, choose Use the wizard.
2. If you have an ORC entry list URL, paste it on the AI-run screen and let it parse; otherwise skip straight to the manual steps.
3. Go through each review step — every proposed row can be edited, and unmatched entries default to create unless you change them.
4. Apply. If anything fails partway, the error names exactly what wasn't written so you can retry just that part.

Notes

• The wizard is optional — you can always fall back to the plain event form and the individual tabs (divisions, rating, entries, …) on the event page.
• A draft event can be safely abandoned; it only becomes a real event once you apply.
